Tattoo Aftercare
•Leave the bandage on for a minimum of two hours (and never longer than 24 hours!), after it is applied.

•Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water before touching your healing tattoo.

•Gently remove bandage under warm running water to reduce risk of damaging the tattoo.

•Once bandage is removed, using an unscented liquid soap, wash the tattooed area well with your hand and warm soapy water.

•When done washing the tattooed area gently pat the tattoo using dry with a clean towel and allow to air dry. Once the bandage is completely removed DO NOT RE-BANDAGE the tattoo.

•Do not pick or scratch a healing tattoo. Doing so will cause improper healing and may damage your tattoo.

•Avoid direct sun exposure to the tattoo for one month.

•Do not soak or submerge your tattoo until completely healed (showering is fine).

•Do not shave or wax the tattooed area until the tattoo is completely healed.

•Do not apply alcohol, Vaseline, Petroleum jelly, or sun block to a healing tattoo.
After one month we strongly advise to use sun block whenever there is prolonged exposure to the sun. This will prevent unnecessary fading of your tattoo. Please use common sense if you are advised to follow different aftercare methods than those listed above.
Please call your artist to discuss your options before you switch. There are a lot of products on the market which can both slow healing and/or promote an allergic reaction.
